SATU MOTO is a small, focused software team in central Kuala Lumpur. We build accounting and point-of-sale software for small and mid-size businesses, and we use it ourselves every day across our own restaurant operations. Engineers here ship real systems for real operators, not slide decks.
We are growing our engineering team and are open to hearing from candidates in the following areas:
Open roles
Full-stack Software Engineer
Kuala Lumpur · Full-time
Design and build features across our accounting and POS products — from database schema to UI. You will work closely with operators (including our own restaurants) to translate real-world workflows into clean, maintainable software.
What we look for: 3+ years of professional software development; strong fundamentals in TypeScript / Python and SQL databases; comfortable making product judgement calls, not just executing tickets.
Junior Software Engineer
Kuala Lumpur · Full-time
Work alongside senior engineers on accounting and POS features. We invest in mentorship and code review — this is a role for someone serious about getting better at the craft.
What we look for: Solid fundamentals in any modern language; comfort reading and modifying existing codebases; curiosity about how businesses actually run.
Software Operations / Customer Success
Kuala Lumpur · Full-time
Be the bridge between our engineering team and the operators using our software. You will help onboard new clients, document operating procedures, and translate field feedback into product improvements.
What we look for: Strong written and spoken English; comfort with software (not necessarily as a developer); F&B or retail operations experience is a plus.
How we work
Office-based, Kuala Lumpur. Wisma UOA 2, Jalan Pinang. We believe small teams ship better in person.
Operator-aware engineering. Our software is used in our own restaurants — you will see your code in production immediately.
Boring tech, intentionally. We pick durable tools and keep architectures simple. Less fire-fighting, more shipping.
Multilingual environment. English / Bahasa Malaysia / Japanese / Mandarin Chinese, comfortable wherever your strength is.
How to apply
